Enjoy a festive weekend in Liverpool and visit the Liverpool Christmas Market.  This year the market has a new home and will be located in St Johns Gardens, William Brown Street and the North Entrance of Georges Hall.  The xmas market will have an array of stalls selling Christmas gifts, personalised decorations, arts and craft goodies, photo prints, jewellery and stocking fillers.  It will also have a small selection of stands selling food ranging from the Yorkshire Pud Wrap Stall, the traditional swing grill selling a selection of sausages and burgers to vegan stalls.  There is also the big wheel and snow slide in Santa’s village to keep the family amused and a selection of bars including the tipi bar, ski bar, windmill bar and the new Bavarian bar where you can try a selection of German beers and hot cider.

There is so much else to see and do in Liverpool; starting with the Albert Dock where you can choose to visit the Beatles Story, Tate Liverpool or simply stroll around and enjoy the scenery, shops, cafes and restaurants. Admire the The Three Graces, including the iconic Liver Building, and take in the views from the Pier Head, head inside the Cunard Building to explore popular music from 1940s to present day at the British Music Experience. For Shoppers, there is the Liverpool ONE shopping centre, located right by the iconic waterfront and home to more than 170 stores, bars and restaurants.

For the best bars and nightlife, make your way down to Mathew Street for a taste of Beatles Liverpool – A trip to the famous Cavern Club is a must!

You will then be required to make your own way back to the hotel at a time to suit you.  A local taxi costs approximately £18-£20 (£5 per person).

Day 2: After breakfast we leave the hotel at  10:30am and take you into Liverpool City Centre.  Pick up is 3:00pm for the journey back to Hull, arriving home approximately 6:00pm
