Itinerary:

Day 1, Monday 7th April 2025: Pick up in Hull, stop off for breakfast in the market town of Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Day 2, Tuesday 8th April 2025: Visits to Pegasus Bridge, Sword Beach, Juno Beach, British Normandy Memorial, Normandy Beach.  We also take in Arromanches-les Bains and a visit to the D-Day History Museum (optional), Omah and Utah Beaches plus Battery visits.  We spend the evening in Caen City Centre.

Day 3, Wednesday 9th April 2025: A daytime visit to the beautiful City of Bayeux, a beautiful medieval city, brimming with history, and home of the famous Bayeux Tapestry. In the evening we visit the charming fishing town of Honfleur with its picturesque streets lined with colourful cafes and restaurants.

Day 4, Thursday 10th April 2025: We travel to Mont Saint-Michel, A magical island topped by a gravity-defying abbey, the Mont-Saint-Michel and its Bay count among France’s most stunning sights. For centuries one of Europe’s major pilgrimage destinations, this holy island is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as is its breathtaking bay.  In the evening we have free time in Caen.

Day 5: Friday 11th April 2025:  After breakfast we depart the hotel for Ouistreham to board the ferry to Portsmouth and onward journey back to Hull.
